ACMI stands for Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance. Wingmen Solutions sources ACMI (wet lease) capacity from licensed operators for airlines and cargo carriers that need additional aircraft for a defined period.
Under an ACMI agreement, a provider supplies the aircraft, flight crew, maintenance and insurance, while the customer typically covers fuel, airport and navigation charges and commercial responsibility. It is widely used to cover seasonal peaks, fleet shortfalls, new-route launches and temporary aircraft unavailability.
Wingmen Solutions identifies suitable ACMI providers for the required aircraft type, term and region, structures the commercial proposal, and supports the client through term-sheet negotiation and mobilisation planning.
Wingmen Solutions does not own or operate aircraft. All flight operations are performed by independent, licensed third-party operators.

Frequently asked questions
What does ACMI include?
Aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance. Fuel, landing and navigation fees and commercial costs are generally borne by the customer.
Is ACMI the same as a dry lease?
No. A dry lease provides the aircraft only. In an ACMI (wet) lease the provider also supplies the crew, maintenance and insurance.
Who holds the operating certificate?
The ACMI provider operates under its own air operator certificate. Wingmen Solutions acts as broker.
